Powertrain and Mechanical

  • Diesel fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber at high pressure, through an atomizing nozzle, mixing with the hot, high-pressure air. The heat of the compressed air ignites the fuel mixture and burns very rapidly.
  • Two camshafts (DOHC), one operating intake valves and the other exhaust valves, are located above each bank of cylinders. The design is very adaptable to multiple intake and exhaust valves.

Safety and Security

  • Brake assist senses panic braking from the speed of the brake pedal's travel and applies all available power brake boost.
